no its still alive
there are still dgs images available for flash and there are e2 images supported by hdmu and pkteam.
i have a 16gb sandisk usb stick in it with pkteam hyperion v3 image on it.
i have a solo2 as my main box and was trying to use the ipbox as a client to stream from it to a different room but it wasnt very stable.
it will work as a reciever in its own right.
