I confirm that it is an EL model
you can see in photo 2 the 2 plates where to attach the piston
but it can become normal by putting the eyebolt on
which I highly recommend, in this case the grip is much stiffer
then if you want the declination see my photos above

advice, replace the screws with stainless steel products, because after a short time the rust shows itself
what length and diameter of threaded bar is needed for the elevation?,as i will not be using a jack arm actuator yet for elevation will use the threaded bar.

I can't tell you but you don't need an engineering study
put the motor on a pole, then put the elevation value equivalent to your latitude on the top plate of the motor and with a flexible meter measure the distance between the 2 underlying pins to which add 10cm and then you're done

i have just been thinking lol before i take down my 1.8m thats o n a polarmount belonging to a cm i am going to use my cheap digital inclometer that i bought in lidl a few months ago and face my dish for due south which is 7.w for me and put a straight length of timber from top to bottom on the dish face and put the inclometer on the straight length to get a reading and also do the same on the polarmount at the back of the dish so then i have ball park figures to go by when setting up the 1224 motor on my mabo dish, does this make sense to you guys lol

Hi there, I found HH Super Power jack V-120(specification says up to 1.5m), I want to move Gibertini 1.5 m but I'm not sure it's possible. Does anyone have experience with this or a similar diseqc and this antenna?

Personally, I would not put a 1.5m dish on the V-120 motor.
You might get away with it if the dish is in a sheltered location with no chance of any wind load on it but it would not be my choice for a 1.5m dish.

You could use a v-box as positioner with an actuator on a polar mount or a Jaeger 1224 H-H motor.
A v-box will accept DiSeqC commands from a receiver or DVB software.

just totally stoopid i agree with moonbase why destroy a good cheap clone Disecq motor
when you can simply buy a clone Super Power jack Actuator instead and it'll work just fine
without trying to put far more stress on a Disecq motor than its capable .
it can say whatever the hell BS it likes the bearings will be toast inside a month or two if even that
Disecq motors are designed for max 1.1m dish and even that is pushing it .
be smart use that Disecq on a 90cm-1.1m dish and do it right V-box and 24" actuator for your 1.5m dish
you'll be glad you did as the 1.5M dish when there is strong winds your dish is not shaking about like a crackhead needing a fix .....

I have a new Super jack motor but a huge one 36" and v box. So far I have used diseqc hh Amico dm3800 for Gibertini 125 without any problems on 2 antennas for many years...Anyway, I'll take your advice, install a Actuator (I'll try to find a smaller but new one, since used ones aren't a great idea) TNX

I have an smr-1224 and a panzer plate, I made it from 7 mm steel. I noticed that there is no way to install it without removing some parts, which bothers me. I don't want to mess it up. What is the easiest way to install the plate.

look for a channel master 1.2metre polar mount and 18 1nch ram will fit any dish last forever regards jovie
