To install this image please be sure that you are using AZUp 2.2.4

This is the first Open AZBox MOD Image for AZBox HD Elite, Premium, Premium+ and Ultra which is running on new 3.4.4 Kernel. Open AZBox MOD Images are fully based on OpenPLi 2.1 Enigma 2 Opensource Project.

You can expect more features in the future that include support for blindscan and USB DVB-T tuners, as we have reached the same level as with new AZBox receivers, thus making all AZBox HD devices run on a new kernel.

This image includes all latest changes from OpenPLi team.

Please test it, use it and give us your feedback.
We would appreciate if you skip questions like 'when will something be supported or added in image'' - we are working day to day in order to put as much as possible features in E2 and kernel.

Keep in mind that some of your 'findings' will not be treated as bugs - some users posted about video scalling options, but we already know about that and due work is in progress, so sooner or later it will be added, don't worry.

We are also working on AZPlayer for all models, and you can expect it at soon. For now there is Enigma 2 Media Player which you can locate by Menu -> Plugins -> Media Player

Errrrmmmm, this is not the first time this kinda thing happens with RTi - it's actually 2.2.5!!!

Azup 2.2.5

With Azup flashes you an E2-image to the boxes, HD Premium, Premium + HD, HD Elite and Ultra HD. not until you also can flash Azup 2.2.4 kernel> 3.0. In no respect for a kernel> 3.0 with a flash version Azup <2.2.4. Otherwise, the box is no longer bootable. Only from Azup 2.2.5 you can also back to a version with "old" kernel. download from our database.

well, seeing problem here as i'm not using Windows so cant use Azup :(((( is there any way no make it work using Jazup ?

I have already seen reports of "BOOTING" on other forums, so BEWARNED with this!!!

DO NOT DO IT YET!!! WAIT FOR THE TESTED VERSION!!!

I tried, Azup 2.2.4 + OAM-AZBox-HD-Prerelease it works. And yesterday I tried, Azup 2.2.5 + OAM-AZBox-HD-Prerelease-1 and after reboot endless BOOTING .....
I'm not a newbie i try many Azup with many E2 (RTI, SIFteam, Spaze, Powerboard etc ... ), and some Jazup too , I use Back-UPS, this is the first big problem some years ago ...(bricked my box?). I say too, wait a really tested version.

Damn!!!! Condolences, m8! I knew it was gonna be like that, I just new... So, I resisted... Thankfully. Experience is a saviour, sometimes...

And they (some in RTi) are trying to pin it on OpenRSi... But you were going for their image... WTF?!?

They are now on release 2..Bugged to hell!
HDD does not mount, so you cannot record unless you telnet the directories, then if you reboot it loses the HDD again, had to edit the fstab file. Timeshift doesn't work, no option to change AC3 or PCM to RAW as my amp needs RAW.
This lot was have supposed to have been beta tested!!

They published an AZUp 2.2.6 now... Implicit admission of liability?!? :nana: I will attach it to this post.

Prerelease version 3 and AZUp 2.2.6 were blocked at Mediafire for "violation of terms of service"... Go figure...

In turn, this image has apparently won the sloppiness contest. Again, dual recording on the same transponder is not possible. Reason - another wrong file 863xdvb.ko.

Unzip the attached file and replaces them in the folder /lib/modules/3.4.4-opensat/extra

Now they release Pre Release4 for the ME and MiniMe that crashes the box on boot! Don't they ever test anything!!!!
