I would say box is behaving a bit better. Still issues with audio and my setup but hasn't switched off recently since flashing. I don't enough as far as motors are concerned and why the box thought it was somewhere else but having checked directly from the dish and motor, everything is fine...

The tp is there, can't lock anything on 16e. Meter dish/ Belfast. Picture has always been stable. Unless it's the weather. Just not getting any lock at all. Even with the channelist it doesn't work Sent from my M2101K6G using Tapatalk

No mate, I didn't back it up this time, the channel list is not really a big thing for me. Only handful of channels that I actually watch. Don't mind leaving it scanning . But will check out that other list but I'm still puzzled as to why the box ain't picking it up Sent from my M2101K6G...

Cheers went back to factory and then done another factory reset. For the fw firmware , is it any better to rename that to update.bin and update via turning it off etc or just update via usb from on screen? Sent from my M2101K6G using Tapatalk

if someone can link me the default factory firmware for viark sat 4k and the current firmware..some time on my hands, may as well do some factory resets :) I got the factory fw...

Thanks for the feedback. It is just annoying. The viark is great for what it gives. But not the greatest of boxes. I'll maybe check some of them other threads for different boxes. I might reset this box again..it can really do no harm at this point. Maybe persuade the wife to let me get a new...
