No, as previously stated vplug is in the mdplugins folder, but it's simply not 'seen' by MDAPIHost

That's what I've always been using, but 64-bit SmartDVB works better than the 32-bit version for me, it's just lacking the plugins option. The problem seems to be that MDAPIHost is not seeing vPlug, which I can't fathom.

When I first moved to Win10, the SmartDVBx64-0.5.3.26 version wouldn't work at all for me. Tried installing again the other day and it's now working fine. Am puzzled however by the use of plugins though; to use trusty old 32-bit vPlug, I understand I need to put it in the mdplugins folder, which...

I did wonder if the 64-bit version (portable installation) is missing some required component which the older 32-bit version provides. Have since updated to 32-bit v5.0.59, still working okay. Still no luck trying again with the latest 64-bit version though

Finally resolved, albeit by having to install an old 32-bit version (5.0.51).

Thanks. Am using a TBS6903. I was unsure if it'd automatically pick up all required data when scanning with AltDVB, but I see now that I have to add that manually. Unless there's a transponder ini files source that contains all that extra data somewhere...

Apologies in advance for my ignorance, but are there any multistream transponders that can be received in the SE UK (am using a 1.2M dish)? If so, what's the procedure for scanning/viewing with AltDVB? Thanks.

Yes, I've noticed that, was hoping others on there mayve have experienced the same problem and could suggest something. There still appears to be admin staff on that forum as I've seen "new members" being listed there.

Actually no, it was just throwing up an error and wouldn't start at all. However I've since tried the latest version of AltDVB and that appears to work fine.

Just put together a new PC (Windows 10) and decided to buy the TBS6903 for it. Unfortunately, after selecting the card, it doesn't start, although SmartDVB then runs fine. I've tried v0.5.3 (x64) and a few previous versions, but get the same result. It works okay on ProgDVB and DVB Dream, but...
