I wonder then could the Viark sat 4K be fixed with firmware update. If it’s a limitation of the firmware or if the hardware just doesn’t cut it?

Cheers dude , will give that a go? Do you know what the purpose of that is? Is it updates on channels that are stupid to clear - highlight them in yellow or just channel updates?

Haven’t had the Viark sat 4K box for long but just noticed the dish moving by itself. Checking my kids if they were switching channels while I was working but the receiver was on standby mode. Anybody any insight into this?

I can’t fault the box. Didn’t get it for iptv. Don’t get me wrong the actual box is not great. Don’t think I would have ever bought the sat 4K version but the service of opening channels seems to work flawlessly. I’ll probably only ever use it for football, I hear peacock will bring 4K...

Yeah, this editor works on. Bit easier to do it on the pc. Just painstaking to go through and sort. Create favourites . Add sport and movies, pretty much it for me and maybe sort 28.2. But I did see at least other people sharing channel lists so that’s really good.

Thanks for the help and useful thread and links. Was able to get box up and running . Seems to be working fine. Wish the organisation of channels was easier/better. Did come across the program to edit the channel lists on the pc. May do that instead.

Can I ask, I’m just purchasing the Viark 4K box. Once I get it, flash the latest firmware. The sp1 code is it possible to convert the new sun to have the sp1. Are there steps to do that which you can share? Or do I need to purchase the sp1 code on top of the new box?
