    Viark Forever boxes

The feeds in question are often 4:2:0, but, as I say, they either take a long time to clear or not at all, hence my attempting to enter the keys manually.

Ah okay, so if a feed is 4:2:0 then you're not able to view it? Screen is often stuck on "Updating Biss Key, please wait...", or takes about 20 mins or so to be found. I often have to resort to viewing on SmartDVB, which isn't ideal.

I follow the procedure for adding Biss keys manually on the Viark 4k, as outlined on another forum, but that doesn't work, I just have to wait for the auto-roll to do its stuff. The only thing I'm not adding is the provider and SID info, is that relevant? Am I overlooking something else?

    Thanks, had already done this

Using an admittedly old (therefore rather slow) USB stick, it really slows down the Viark UI scrolling through channels when it's plugged in. Is this still the case with any USB stick/drive plugged in, regardless of inherent write/read speeds?

    Viark Forever boxes

I'm a new user of the box, finding the user interface a bit irksome (no sat key on remote, so a slight rigmarole changing via the SUBT button), and adding favourites seems to be quite buggy at times. Main question here is that I added an active feed transponder with correct parameters, did a...

    SmartDVB x64 and vPlug

Sorry folks, the answer was glaringly obvious but I missed it - I'd installed Win64 in the x86 folder by mistake, all working correctly now. Thanks for your time :)

    SmartDVB x64 and vPlug

I don't find it difficult at all, but I thought it was superfluous as all you'd see is what I've described. I think I have seen what's possibly wrong though... https://photos.app.goo.gl/ic97QYagYoMyA6zs6

No, as previously stated vplug is in the mdplugins folder, but it's simply not 'seen' by MDAPIHost

I see the black box in the image, but how would I evoke it?

What line in vPlug? milan's post shows it all working fine, but I cannot see an instruction to do anything as such. With MDAPIHost, all I see is this: https://photos.app.goo.gl/ic97QYagYoMyA6zs6

    SmartDVB x64 and vPlug

Thanks for the replies. >you need to run the Filters folder with Administrator rights SmartAVSrc64.ax >register filters< I'd already done that. Did it again, it's successful but makes no difference to my problem. MDAPIhost just shows the log. I click on "Plugins" and it just shows "None...

    SmartDVB x64 and vPlug

That's what I've always been using, but 64-bit SmartDVB works better than the 32-bit version for me, it's just lacking the plugins option. The problem seems to be that MDAPIHost is not seeing vPlug, which I can't fathom.

    SmartDVB x64 and vPlug

When I first moved to Win10, the SmartDVBx64-0.5.3.26 version wouldn't work at all for me. Tried installing again the other day and it's now working fine. Am puzzled however by the use of plugins though; to use trusty old 32-bit vPlug, I understand I need to put it in the mdplugins folder, which...

    TBS6903 not starting in SmartDVB

I did wonder if the 64-bit version (portable installation) is missing some required component which the older 32-bit version provides. Have since updated to 32-bit v5.0.59, still working okay. Still no luck trying again with the latest 64-bit version though
