I have that same receiver as well here in the UK. For packages here so far it's the same as pre 1.45 boxes - I can't get the satellites that open and close channels on VIP so don't have that. There have been messages about Amlogic boxes in various IKS groups.

Think it's G-MScreen on android, if you sniff the traffic you can get URLs for VLC, at least you could used to. It wasn't the most user friendly from memory. Not sure if that's been removed while they're cracking down on these sorts of boxes being used for restreaming elsewhere.

I'm always using various function (Sat / Filter etc) buttons on the Viark / GTMedia which aren't on the normal TV remote so even with CEC it would likely be a bit of a pain in the bum.

Real decrypted satellite for me The wife is watching 28.2e now on another box and if I try any DE channels on 19.2e I get the black screen with scrambled channel message so it's not pulling IPTV for me with CHMax off.

Hi guys, I renewed SP2 onto my Viark Sat 4k today and it's clearing the channels with CHMax off and I've confirmed via my router it's not substituting an IPTV stream in on mine. It has been freezing, I'd say not as bad as my e2 box with a bad icam line but not as good as my good icam line...
