Unless I am missing something, I find it absolutely ridiculous that I cannot lock the doors of my Renault Clio 2015 with no battery.
The battery has been removed and is being charged. I know I can lock the front passenger door with a key, but that's it.
Does anyone know if there is a way?

Open bonnet, lock the car, then open passenger door with the key so the alarm doesn't go off when you disconnect the battery, then lock the door with the key when you are done ?

Or if the passenger lock triggers the central locking, open the bonnet then lock the car, and open the boot disconnect the battery and close the boot at the end.

I will try later by putting the battery back temporarily and if a success, take it out again for further charging.

It worked. Battery now out again, and I can relax whilst it charges until tomorrow.
Mind you, it is forecast to snow, so might not be able to get to the car tomorrow.

Many years ago, when in the army and living in army quarters in Germany, I felt too lazy to park my car in my garage, so parked it close.
It snowed heavily overnight, and I couldn't even see the car the next day. Freezing conditions continued with lots of snow for about two months.
It took me 6 weeks to eventually dig it out and get it started.
