Racing tv was open again last night for a while but only because the program being aired was a freebie so was FTA once that program finished the channel was encrypted again. And @cokeaddict has explaining above regarding the Viaplay channels they were freeloading off someone else’s line.

Yes the viark sat 4K doesn’t have the processing power to play UHD channels that use stream relay as they had them clearing on 28.2e for a short time about a year ago and the boxes couldn’t cope.

Can’t say I’ve ever had that issue just backup your channel list and do a factory reset to see if that clears up your issue

Is it not easier to use the USB port on the front which is located under the pull down flap on the right hand side of the receiver.

The OTA updates are probably prone to less end user errors during the flashing due to dodgy USB sticks etc and you are guaranteed that it’s the correct firmware for your STB

No just let the box do it’s update with the firmware you are currently using

Think it was just an isolated case must have been a Friday afternoon batch I guess the potential is the same with most electrical products if not powered down when not in use.
